The school has established strict quality control guidelines for all teachers and trainers. These guidelines are in accordance to:

Quality control frameworks as required by the TAFE and AQTF systems
Guidelines from the Ministry of Education, Singapore
Stringent teacher and trainer hiring guidelines as required by Guilford
   

Guilford is working towards establishing an association of trainers. The vision is to nurture a group of highly experienced and internationally certified trainers who participate in global research and training in the hospitality industry.

Guilford¡¯s trainers:
Reuben Thyagarajan

is a full-time trainer and director with GTC. He has 6 years of experience in the Australian hospitality industry, in various capacities. He is also qualified with a Bachelor of Business (Honors) in Tourism and Hospitality, and an MBA in strategic management.

 
Alvin Ng

is an associate trainer with Guilford. He received his hospitality education in Switzerland, and has a variety of experience in the airline and hospitality industries.

 
Jaclyn Goh
is a trainer with more than 15 years of experience in Hospitality industry. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration as well as a Diploma in Business Studies. She is also a certified food hygiene officer. Jaclyn has prior work experience with the Four Seasons group as a guest trainer and an organizational manager.
 
Jesusa Mallari-Adolfo

is a trainer with more than 8 years of experience in Retail industry and 7 years in an established fast food chain. She holds a Bachelor of Science and has worked as a General Manager for wholesale and Retail Trade, and as a Merchandiser in Papua New Guinea. She also has experience in operating a fast food outlet.

 
Milton Gerard Monteiro
is a management trainer with close to 25 years of experience. His past experience includes working as a n o perations manager with the Shangri-la and also a s a trainer with various organizations. Milton also runs his own F&B business , and puts his experience to good use when training.
 
Catherine Cheong
is a service-oriented and hands-on training professional with more than 6 years experience in the Food and Beverage Industry. She has led several training teams to set up over 7 restaurants in Singapore as well as overseas, monitoring both front and back of house service standards.
 
Kenny Lim
is a Sous Chef with expert culinary skills. He is currently a part time trainer at GSH and was trained under acclaimed chef Diego Chiarini. Kenny has over 14 years of experience in the industry.
